Grade 8 grammar practice

The past perfect tense, the passive voice in the simple tenses, and reflexive pronouns. These follow competency levels 6.1 and 6.2.

Grade 8 Extra Listening Tests

Five extra listening tests written by RCF English, for practice beyond the textbook: a weather forecast, advice at a dental clinic, an explanation of how paper is made, a project report and a booking made by telephone.

Choose Practice to replay freely, or Formal test for examination conditions. Each test starts with five words to learn. In Practice you can open the transcript if you are stuck; in a Formal test it appears only after you submit. Every test prints as a worksheet, and all of them, with the Pupil's Book activities, are together in the Listening Laboratory. These follow competency levels 3.2 to 3.4, and the paper-making test also practises the passive voice from competency level 6.1.
